Founded in 1923, Belasitsa is one of the traditional football clubs in Southwestern Bulgaria, boasting a history spanning over a century. “The Komiti” have spent 12 seasons in the Bulgarian top flight and 23 in the second tier, and have reached the national cup semi-finals; the club’s white-and-red colors are an integral part of Petrich’s sporting identity. The club is renowned for its strong bond with the city and the generations of devoted supporters who stand behind the team.
